The vault's open.

A family coffee shop inside the old County Bank on North Street. Beans roasted in the back, poured up front.

Before the sun's up,
the roaster's on.

By seven,
it's in your cup.

Once a bank.

123 North Street used to hold the town's money. Now it holds its mornings.

County Bank built it. PNC closed it. In November 2025 the Vanderhoef family reopened the doors with a roaster in the back, a porch swing by the entrance, and the original vault still standing in the dining room.

Because we care

Small choices, made on purpose.

  • Ice cream from a Maryland dairy. Hormone-free and antibiotic-free.
  • Baked goods made in-house. Good ingredients, no shortcuts.
  • A gift shop that pays local artists. Every purchase goes back to someone in the county.
  • HumanKind tea. Every bottle sends fifty gallons of clean drinking water to someone who needs it.

Stay awhile.

Free wifi, outlets at the tables, a patio out front. The room's available for baby showers, wedding showers, and birthdays. Call the shop to book it.
